Heart Recipient and Professional Athlete to Host Opening Ceremony
Salt Lake City --- The Transplant Life Foundation announced that Simon Keith, founder of The Simon Keith Foundation, COO of the Nevada Donor Network and the first professional athlete to return to play after a heart transplant, will emcee the Donate Life Transplant Games Opening Ceremony.
The Opening Ceremony will be held Friday, August 3 at Smith’s Ballpark, home of the Salt Lake Bees, triple A baseball club. Gates will open at 6pm, with festivities starting at 6:45pm. Guests can expect an evening of emotional storytelling, the lighting of the Transplant Games cauldron and a finale concert featuring national recording artists, The Moth and The Flame.
